Firefighters begin emergency medical care immediately upon arrival. Early assessment and treatment often begin within seconds while additional resources are responding.

The firefighters staffing our ambulances are the same firefighters assigned to fire apparatus. Fire and EMS are the same personnel and can perform fire rescue from the ambulance when needed.
