Pearland Police and Fire Train Together for Active Attack Response

Members of the Pearland Fire Department and Pearland Police Department came together this month for ALERRT Active Attack Integrated Response (AAIR) training, strengthening the coordination and teamwork needed to respond to critical incidents in our community.

The training focuses on how law enforcement and fire personnel work together during active attack situations, including coordinating response efforts, providing emergency medical care, and getting injured individuals to safety.

While we hope these are situations our community never has to face, preparing for them is an important part of protecting Pearland residents.

The Pearland Professional Firefighters Association is proud of the strong working relationship between our firefighters and our brothers and sisters in blue. Training together builds trust, improves communication, and helps both agencies operate as one team when every second matters.

We would also like to thank Cole’s Flea Market for generously allowing both departments to use their property for this training. Community partnerships like this provide valuable opportunities for our first responders to prepare for real emergencies.

Pearland Police and Fire will continue participating in joint training over the next several months, further strengthening their ability to respond together.

Different uniforms, one mission: keeping Pearland safe.
